Azeem Chaunsa, also known as Rattewala Chaunsa, is a highly prized and late-season variety of Chaunsa mango grown in the Multan region of Pakistan. Known for its rich, sweet flavor and smooth, non-fibrous texture. It’s considered one of the finest mangoes, and is often referred to as the “Great Chaunsa”.
It exhibits a raw and rustic mango flavor and is very flavorful. Typically this mango is sucked for its juice, and it is closer to Anwar Ratol in size and temperament.
The season for Rattewala is end-August to mid-October. When all other mangoes are gone, this mango along with White Chaunsa hold ground till the season is finally over for the year!!
